Katelyn Gely is an attorney admitted to the New York State Bar. Katelyn was an affiliate of the Business and Finance Center at New York Law School, focusing her academic studies on corporate and business law. As a member of the Moot Court Association, Katelyn competed in the Charles W. Froessel Competition, the Irving R. Kaufman Securities Law Competition and coached teams in several other National Competitions. Katelyn also served on the executive board of the Moot Court Association during her third year of law school. At commencement, Katelyn was awarded the Order of the Barristers for her achievements on the Moot Court Association.
Katelyn has interned at several law firms in the greater New York area, where she has worked on matters including contracts, intellectual property, business, divorce, and family law. Katelyn has also interned for the Honorable Joanne D. Quiñones, in her internship she drafted decisions and conducted legal research. During her final year of law school, Katelyn was an intern with the Non-Profit and Small Business Clinic where she worked directly with clients and advised small businesses on matters of incorporation, LLC formation, employment structure, and tax liability.
