Upon admission to the New York State Bar Tayaba Zahra worked at legal solutions and electronic discovery firms as a document review attorney. During this time Tayaba learned about 2nd Request, a discovery method pursued by the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice to investigate mergers and acquisitions that could potentially trigger antitrust law.
In law school Tayaba was able to concentrate on real estate law, which was a result of joining her law school’s Center For Real Estate Studies. Overall it was a rewarding experience as Tayaba had a privilege to be a summer judicial intern for Hon. Arlene H. Hahn at the New York City Housing Court. Later, Tayaba interned for a residential real estate transactional attorney where one of her jobs included summarizing financial entries in a condominium offering plan that were relevant to a purchaser of a unit.
In her spare time Tayaba likes to paint art.
